The valve drive preamp section can be adjusted from clean sound to overdrive. Drive levels can be preset memorized and recalled using a footswitch (sold separately).
The best EQ in the business, just got better
The distinctive VU input level meter allows players to quickly find their instrument's sweet spot. It also has 9 EQ bands. Sophisticated rotary controls for bass, middle, and treble, and six sliders providing precise cut and boost at 100Hz, 180Hz, 340Hz, 1.3KHz, 2.6KHz and 5KHz. These offer a wide range of EQ variations and can be tailored to suit any gig.
Professional Connections
Ashdown's ABM head is equipped with a tuner output, line output, transparent FX loop, and line input for connecting an external sampler or sound source. The output mute function cuts the signal from the DI OUT, but the tuner OUT remains output for silent tuning. You can also add the optional FS-4 footswitch to control compression, EQ, drive, and subharmonics with your feet.
