Mooer Black Secret uses a mini-sized metal housing and has 2 modes: Vintage/Turbo. This is a distortion pedal equipped with a switch.
The Vintage side produces a warm and smooth tone, while the Turbo side produces a loud and powerful distortion with an output level more than twice that of Vitage mode.
Since it is a true bypass specification, there is no need to worry about the tone changing when bypassing.
